Steps to Add a Candidate to a Job Requisition:

  1. Log in to Oracle HCM Cloud:

    • Ensure you have the necessary permissions to manage job requisitions and candidates (typically a recruiter or HR specialist role).
  2. Navigate to Recruiting:

    • From the home page, click on the “Recruiting” tab or icon.
    • If you don’t see this option, it may be under the “My Client Groups” tab depending on your role.
  3. Search for the Job Requisition:

    • In the Recruiting module, locate the Job Requisitions section.
    • Use the search function to find the requisition to which you want to add a candidate. You can search by job title, requisition number, or hiring manager.
  4. Select the Job Requisition:

    • Once you locate the job requisition, click on it to open the details.
  5. Add a Candidate:

    • Inside the requisition, you will see an option to Add Candidate or Submit Candidate.
    • Click on this option, and you will be prompted to either:
      • Search for Existing Candidates in the system (if the candidate is already in the database).
      • Create a New Candidate Profile if the candidate is not already in the system.
  6. Fill in Candidate Details:

    • If creating a new profile, enter all relevant information about the candidate, including:
      • Name, contact information
      • Resume/CV
      • Skills, qualifications, and experience
      • Other personal details (based on your organization’s requirements)
  7. Attach Documents (if applicable):

    • Upload the candidate’s resume, cover letter, or any additional documents (certifications, references, etc.) that may be required for the job.
  8. Assign the Candidate to the Requisition:

    • After filling in the details or selecting an existing candidate, confirm that the candidate is being added to the specific job requisition.
    • You can also add additional details or notes regarding the candidate’s suitability for the role.
  9. Submit:

    • Once everything is completed, click Submit or Save to add the candidate to the job requisition.
    • Depending on your organization’s workflow, this action might trigger an approval or notification process for hiring managers or other stakeholders.
  10. Monitor Candidate Progress:

  • After the candidate is added to the requisition, you can track their progress in the recruitment pipeline. This includes reviewing their status (e.g., screening, interviewing, or offer stages).
