Goal Management- Complete Performance Goal

To complete a performance goal in Oracle Cloud Goal Management, you’ll follow steps to mark the goal as finished, update the progress, and provide relevant comments or documentation, if required. This process ensures that your achievements are recorded for the performance review period.

Steps to Complete a Performance Goal:

1. Log in to Oracle Cloud

  • Use your employee credentials to log in to Oracle Cloud.

2. Navigate to My Goals

  • From the Home page, go to the Navigator menu.
  • Under the Me section, click on My Goals. This will show you all the goals assigned to you.

3. Locate the Goal to Complete

  • In the My Goals section, find the goal you want to mark as completed.
  • You can filter goals by In Progress, Not Started, or view all active goals.

4. Open the Goal Details

  • Click on the goal title to open the detailed view of the goal.
  • Review the goal description, milestones, key performance indicators (KPIs), and any other relevant information to ensure that all requirements have been met.

5. Update the Goal Progress

  • If you haven’t done so already, update the goal’s progress to 100% to indicate that it is complete.
  • Click on Update Progress (if available), and set the completion percentage to 100%.
  • You may also be asked to enter a summary or comment about the work you completed to achieve the goal.

6. Add Supporting Comments (Optional)

  • In the comments section, provide a brief description of how the goal was achieved, any challenges faced, or accomplishments made.
  • This helps your manager understand the context of the completion and will be helpful during performance reviews.

7. Attach Supporting Documents (Optional)

  • If applicable, you can attach documents, reports, or evidence that support the completion of the goal.
  • Use the Attach File option to upload any relevant documents.

8. Mark the Goal as Completed

  • Once all the updates are made and the progress is set to 100%, the goal will automatically be marked as Completed.
  • In some systems, there might be a Submit or Complete button to finalize the completion. Ensure you click this if it’s available.

9. Notify Manager (Optional)

  • If your organization requires it, notify your manager or supervisor that the goal has been completed.
  • The system may automatically notify your manager, but you can also send a message or email to confirm the completion.

10. Review Your Completed Goal

  • After marking the goal as complete, review your list of goals to confirm that the status has changed to Completed.
  • Completed goals may move to a separate section, but they will still be available for review during performance evaluations.

Summary:

  • To complete a performance goal, navigate to My Goals, update the progress to 100%, and add any supporting comments or documentation.
  • Mark the goal as Completed, and ensure your manager is notified, either automatically or manually.
  • Confirm that the goal is listed under completed goals for future reference during performance reviews.
