How to Manage Negotiations
This guide will walk you through efficiently managing negotiations in Oracle Fusion. From accessing the Negotiations section to taking Actions on Negotiations, follow the detailed steps to manage negotiations efficiently.
After logging on to Oracle Fusion, navigate to the Procurement tab and click on the Negotiations infolet.
In the Negotiation work area, click on the Tasks button and select Manage Negotiation under the Negotiations section.
In Manage Negotiations, provide the search criteria and click on the Search button to retrieve negotiations.
Once the results are populated, select the negotiation and click on the Actions dropdown button.
In the Actions dropdown, you will find various actions available that you can perform on negotiations. Here’s a brief description of each action:
- Create: To create a new negotiation
- Duplicate: To create a duplicate negotiation from the selected negotiation
- Edit: To make changes to the existing negotiation
- Export to Excel: Export the search results of Manage Negotiations into Excel
- Unlock Draft: Unlock/Lock a draft negotiation for changes
- Delete Draft: To delete a draft negotiation
- Analyze Negotiation: Analyze the details of a negotiation
- Supplier Responses: View and manage supplier responses
- Award Negotiation: Award a negotiation after closure and scoring
- Reassign Owner: Transfer ownership to another buyer
- View Buyer PDF: View the negotiation PDF for buyer’s reference
- View Purchasing Document: View the purchasing document created from negotiation
