How to raise a project-based requisition in SSP
This guide will walk you through the process of creating a project requisition in Oracle Fusion, covering navigation of requisitions, steps of entering project requisition and submitting requisition. Project requisitions will be useful in managing the cost of the project. Follow the engaging instructions below to streamline your project requisition workflow efficiently.
On your Oracle Fusion home page, navigate to the procurement tab and click on the Purchase Requisitions info tile.
In the requisitions work area, click on the More Tasks dropdown and select the Enter Requisition Line option.
Select an appropriate line type for the expense. If it is Goods, then select the line type as Goods and if it is service then you can select Fixed Price Services or Rate Based Services as the line type.
Enter the Item Number of the Item.
You can also add item description details for more precise information.
The category will be automatically derived from the item, as configured in item master.
Enter the required Item Quantity for the requisition.
Select the unit of measure for the item.
Enter the unit price of the item.
Select the Currency. You can also select foreign currencies as required in case of international transactions.
Select the Supplier and Supplier Site Details. You can also add the supplier contact, email and phone number. The same information will be automatically available on the PO.
Verify the details such as the Requester Name and Requested Delivery Date. You can also suggest a buyer for the requisition. Also, you can highlight the requisition line as urgent if the requisition line requires urgent attention.
Enter Deliver to Location where the item will be delivered.
You can select the destination type as expense or inventory.
In the billing section, fill out the Project Number.
Once you fill out the project number, the associated tasks of that project will be available to you. Select the required Task Number.
Expenditure Item Date is the date when the item will be consumed. Select the required date.
Select the expenditure type and the expenditure organization.
Verify the charge account and if required you can also make amendments in the charge account.
Optionally, you can also enter Note to Supplier and Attach the Attachments. The same information will be transmitted to supplier or buyer if needed.
To add the item to the cart, click on Add to Cart button.
A message will be displayed that the Item is added to the Cart.
Click on the Review button to review the requisition.
On the edit requisition screen, review the requisition line details and make changes if required.
In the billing section, review the Charge Account and the other details related to the requisition.
Click on Manage Approvals to check the approval routing for the requisition.
Once all the details are verified, submit the requisition by clicking “Submit Button”.
A confirmation will pop up of requisition submission. Click on OK.
